个人简介：谢冬，男，江苏苏州人，1982年1月出生。博士，副教授，硕士生导师。

2010年7月武汉大学植物学专业研究生毕业，获博士学位；

2010年10月至2012年10月，在南京大学做博士后研究工作。

南京林业大学高层次引进人才。主要从事湿地生态学领域的教学和科研工作。

江苏省第五期“333工程”第三层次培养对象；

国家林草局江苏太湖湿地生态系统国家定位观测研究站副站长；

江苏省湿地专家库成员；

苏州湿地首席顾问专家；

中国园艺学会水生花卉分会理事。

发表研究论文50余篇；

获批专利3项；

获梁希林业科学技术奖科技进步奖3项；

主持国家科技重大专项子课题1项；

国家自然科学基金面上项目1项；

参与科技部科技基础性工作专项1项及多项国家自然科学基金项目；
